An SMDG client leased an empty office building to UC Health’s behavioral health unit, a medical provider affiliated with the University of Colorado. The primary objective was to enhance accessibility by adding an ADA-compliant entry vestibule. The 3,000 square feet space underwent extensive renovation to accommodate private offices, new ADA-compliant restrooms, and staff support areas. Many design considerations involving healthcare requirements, including ensuring the space was suicide-proof, were meticulously addressed throughout the project to ensure safety and functionality.
