Americana Road intersects Commercial Street via a steel and wood vehicle bridge spanning a small creek. Years of neglect had rendered the bridge nearly impassable, with signs of deterioration becoming evident. Sun Mountain Design coordinated various projects aimed at addressing the decay of the south abutment, restoring the wood plank road deck, and enhancing the guardrails on both sides. This project is part of the La Puerta de Colorado Master Plan by Sun Mountain Design Group.
