The Widefield School District identified the need for a secondary facility to accommodate visiting teams near their football stadium, prioritizing indoor gathering spaces for halftime and post-game activities.
Sun Mountain Design transformed the area by repurposing part of an unused bus garage, transforming it into two spacious 1,250-square-foot areas. The design features expansive team rooms, modern restrooms, injury treatment areas, and private referee rooms, all designed with functionality and comfort in mind. This thoughtful renovation not only aligns with the district’s objectives but also showcases a commitment to sustainability by maximizing existing resources.
The resulting facility is both practical and inviting, fostering a sense of community and enhancing the overall experience for teams and visitors alike.
